Facts about the Russian language:

The Russian language is the Slavic language of the Indo-European family since it is a descendant of a single prehistoric language that is reconstructed as proto Indo. The Russian was the language in Europe during Neolithic era and has evolved through the early Russian to the modernized Russian. Early Russian dates back to 10th century where migrating slave diverged into three main language groups which include Western, Eastern and Southern Russia. Eastern Slavic eventually the known Russian who is the spread in East, West, and South. The three languages are different but are related in the manner in which they are written. During this period, the primary language was purely Slavic. In the 14th C, two main languages used were spoken an old East Slavic language related to the dialect of the eastern slave and the Old Church Slavic language which later changed to Church Slavic language. The two were related in that they could get one another through writing but not verbal.

How was the Russian language modernized? The standardization was not done until 18th C when they agreed to go through the change of alphabet. It was again done through the removal of the unnecessary ones which had no impact on the language. Other foreign languages that were borrowed from like the German, British and all different European languages were removed. This was done in 1918 after the communist revolution in Europe.

The Russian language is fascinating particularly when it comes to naming. It shows some sense of ownership and sense of belonging as the first name is a patronymic followed by family name.
