To get the most out of HD24tools, it is highly recommended to read (and bookmark) the online manual.
Your operating system will not recognize HD24 ADAT FST drives, and because of it, it may ask you if you want to initialize or format it. INITIALIZING THE DRIVE WILL OVERWRITE THE SUPERBLOCK OF THE DRIVE AND WILL MAKE IT UNREADABLE IN YOUR HD24 RECORDER ('Invalid Format' error).If you *did* initialize your drive, don't panic. The current version of hd24connect is still able to read these drives. If you need further assistance, let me know.
Question: Q: Alesis HD24 USERS.need helps on FirePort (FST/Connect) Hi, I'm using HD24 on Leopard now.however i plug and unplug, then re-plug in the FirePort and wish to transfer the recorded files from HD24 to my Mac OS Leopard.it doesn't really work.seems the FST/Connect software isn't updated for Leopard user.
